I have been very lazy about blogging so far this year. A whole month has passed without an entry, which is a bit bad of me. So I'm going to try and make amends
I haven't been lazy about writing however. Having got back into the flow with 'Pop My Cherry Ass - volume 2' I've made a lot of progress with another Tom Farrell project. I plan to release a series of books following the adventures of three characters - Bennie and the Bears. That's them there on the cover of book 1 which is finished, but not to be released just yet. Bennie is the lad in the middle - a nineteen year old rugby player at Aberdeen University. The bears are in the background. On the right is Jim, who is a lecturer in Psychology, and his boyfriend Scott is on the left. Scott, would you believe, is a writer, who goes under the pen name Jack Brighton! He's looking to live out some of his wildest fantasies, and those two are going to help him.
It's a funny old life being a writer, with fantasy and reality getting weirdly blurred. Books within books! What is real and what is not? Is Scott actually Jack Brighton, or a Tom Farrell creation? Do I draw on myself or make it all up?
The answer is somewhere in Bennie and the Bears. And in a couple of weeks book one will be out, to be quickly followed by book two which is almost complete. The third in the series should be available a month or so later. And then I will be putting my other hat on to begin a different series, set in Brighton, and penned by...
Jack (who's a Scot... or should it be Scott?)
Confused?
Don't worry - all will be made clear. Assuming I can be arsed to blog more regularly.
